OBIT – Vernon Wolf
MISSION – Vernon Dean Wolf, 75, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at The Bridges in Mission.
Mr. Wolf was born on March 10, 1942, in Aransas Pass to Monta J. and Willie Houston Wolf. He graduated from Aransas Pass High School in 1961 and served in the United States Coast Guard. Before his retirement and moving to the Rio Grande Valley, he was a member and Past Master of the Aransas Pass Masonic Lodge AF&AM 1018 and a member and past president of the Aransas Pass Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kay Victory Wolf, and son, Jason Keith Wolf.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Batista.
A memorial service was held on Sept. 18 at the First United Methodist Church in Mission. Cremation took place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
