October 6, 2017 – City of Palmview – October 17 Public Meeting

PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:

The City Council of The City of Palmview, Texas will hold a public hearing on October 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Iglesia del Pueblo; 7500 W. Expressway 83 Mission, Texas to consider Annexation. The Public is invited to attend.

The City of Palmview, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limit of said city to include the following described territory, to-wit:

Thirty-one tracts of real property generally bordered on the north beginning at the intersection of North Abrams Road and Palmarina Street (Mile 2 Road); Thence west along that portion of the Edinburg Irrigation Canal to, and including, Hidden Valley Ranch, Leisure Valley Park, and La Joya Sports & Learning Complex; Thence along the western property line of the La Joya Sports & Learning Complex south to Interstate 2; Thence east to property line of Cesar Chavez Middle School; Thence along that property line south to the Irrigation Canal; Thence along U.S. Business Highway 83 to Chihuahua Road (including individual properties fronting on U.S. Business Highway 83); Thence along the existing city limits to the starting point; AND five tracts of real property generally beginning at the intersection of U.S. Business Highway 83 and Goodwin Road east to the property line for the residential neighborhood; Thence along that property line south to the end of the residential neighborhood; thence along the that neighborhood property lines west to Green Road; Thence south to Gollo Romo Street; Thence east along Gollo Romo Street to the intersection with Gollo Romo Street; Thence north on Gollo Romo Street and continuing to the existing city limits; Thence along the city limits to the starting point.
