The founder of an Austin-based public relations firm in Austin will serve as the keynote speaker for the Mayor’s International Brunch this Saturday.
J.R. Gonzales, Founder and President of JRG Communications, will preside over the Mayor’s International Brunch according to Mission Deputy City Manager Aida Lerma.
The brunch, an invitation only affair that will be held at 9 a.m. in Mario’s Banquet Hall at 1716 E Griffin Pkwy, will occur the morning of the 81sth annual Texas Citrus Fiesta so representatives from Mission’s Mexican sister cities can join local public officials as a way for the city of Mission to foster and strengthen friendships with Mexico.
Last year’s keynote speaker for the brunch was Francisco Javier García Cabeza de Vaca, the governor of the Mexican state Tamaulipas.
