OBIT – Juan Hernandez

MISSION –Juan R. Hernandez passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at his home in Mission.

Mr. Hernandez was born on Dec. 26, 1928, to Juan Hernandez and Maria Rodriguez in Dale and lived in the Valley most of his life.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Manuela O. Hernandez; children, Lupe Rosales, Juan Hernandez, Julia Luna, Ricardo Hernandez, Linda Vasquez, Delia Trevino, Estevan Hernandez, Maria Salinas, Carlos Hernandez, Martina Paiz, Lily Lopez and Ana Luna; and 47 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Erasmo Hernandez.

A funeral service was held May 15 at Del Angel Funeral Home in Mission. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
