OBIT – Maria Gallegos

MISSION – Maria Isabel Gallegos, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

Mrs. Gallegos was the owner and director of Carino Child Care.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Alfonso Gallegos; children Alfonso Gallegos Jr. and Irene Gallegos; sister, Maria Romero; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Juventino and Antonio Olivarez, and siblings, Juventino Olivarez Jr. and Blanca Probasco.

A prayer service was held on Aug. 4 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Cremation followed.
