OBIT – Elias Bazan Jr.

MISSION – Elias Bazan Jr., 75, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018.

Mr. Bazan was born in Mission on Oct. 30, 1943, to the late Elias Bazan Sr. and Estela Laurel Bazan. He was a Mission High graduate and served in the U.S. National Guard. A businessman, he was founder and owner of Taco Ole Restaurants for over 49 years. Active in the community, he served in the Lions Club and ACTS retreats.

Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years, Delia Lopez Bazan; children, Elias Bazan III, Steve Bazan, and Priscilla Bazan; sisters, Elva Alejos, Elia Hooks and Estela Saenz; and nine grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held on Nov. 12 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.

    Great person, of Steve Bazan, so sorry about there loss, he gave me a job and treats me fairly thanks my best wishes.
