Snowbird Extravaganza returns to Rio Grande Valley

The Snowbird Extravaganza, North America’s largest mature lifestyle show loaded with music, exhibits and a good time, returns to the Rio Grande Valley on Tuesday, February 5 and Wednesday, February 6 at the Pharr Events Center.

Admission to the Snowbird Extravaganza is free for an interactive day with entertainment, gaming and fun.

snowbirdextravaganzalogoIn addition to entertainers gracing the stage with music and comedy, there will be exhibits showcasing products and services suited to the Winter Texan lifestyle. Attendees are encouraged to fill their showbag with free giveaway items and information before heading to the main stage for the show.

“The one thing we love about Snowbird Extravaganza is the smiles we see on all the faces before, during and after the event. Don’t miss it. Gather all your friends and come spend the day with us,” reads the Snowbird Extravaganza website.

The show begins at 9:30 a.m. featuring performances from George Canyon, John Wing, Jimmy Flynn and other big acts.

George Canyon is a member of the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame and has recorded 12 albums, performing all over the world and acted in a number of film and television shows.

John Wing will bring his stand up comedy skills to the stage as he has six times on The Tonight Show and the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Wing was a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2013 and has more than 300 television appearances to his credit.
