Hidalgo County reported seven new cases of COVID-19 Monday, bringing the total to 268.
Meanwhile, an additional 14 people were released from isolation Monday, meaning they’ve shown no symptoms for 10 days. There are now 59 total cases of people released from isolation, the county said in a news release.
25 people remain in area hospitals and six remain in intensive care units, according to the county.
The seven new cases include three Donna residents, three Alamo residents and one Edinburg resident whose ages range from the 10s to 40s.
The county has administered 2,400 COVID-19 tests and 2,0002 results have come back negative and 130 results are pending Monday.
