10 more in Hidalgo County test positive for COVID-19
10 more people in Hidalgo County tested positive for the COVID-19 strain of coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 334, the county announced Thursday.
Despite the new cases, the amount of people who have been released from isolation after showing no symptoms for 10 days and no fever for three days has surpassed the amount of active COVID-19 cases in the county.
13 people were released from isolation Thursday, bringing the total number of people who have been released to 195. The total number of active cases is 133.
12 people remain in area hospitals and three of them are in intensive care units, according to the county.
A total of 4,171 COVID-19 tests have been administered by the county and 3,726 tests have come back negative and 111 pending results.
