Hidalgo County COVID-19 cases surpass 400

9 more people in Hidalgo County tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of known cases in the county to 403, the county announced in a Tuesday news release.

The county also announced that 10 more people were released from isolation meaning that they have been symptom free for 10 days, including three days without a fever. With a total of 233 released from isolation, there are now 162 active COVID-19 cases in the county. 16 people have been hospitalized with complications from the virus and three of them are in intensive care units, the county announced.
