15 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Hidalgo County over the weekend, bringing the total number of known cases of the virus to 497, the county announced Sunday.
13 people remain hospitalized with complications from the disease with three of those in intensive care units.
“The positive numbers have remained steady,” Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez said in a statement. “Continue doing what we all know works–practice good hygiene and use face coverings as protection.”
The current active COVID-19 cases are now at 204 as no one was released from isolation over the weekend.
