Seven more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Hidalgo County bringing the total number of known cases of the virus to 504.
The seven new cases include residents from Pharr, Mission, San Juan and Alamo.
9,511 COVID-19 tests have been administered in the county with 7,884 tests coming back negative and 1,163 pending results, the county announced in a Monday news release. 714 of those have been public tests and 8,797 have been private laboratories or other parties conducting the tests.
14 people remain hospitalized with complications from the disease with three of those in intensive care units. As no new people were released from isolation, the total amount of active cases has grown to 211.
