Sullivan City’s Flood Control Action Plan

The Sullivan City, Texas, is developing an Action Plan to address flooding in Sullivan City, Texas.

The Sullivan City will be accepting public comments and hosting public hearings regarding its proposed Sullivan City’s Flood Control Action Plan (“Action Plan”).

As part of its outreach efforts, the Sullivan City will be accepting public comments and hosting public hearings. The citizens of Sullivan City as well as members of the public are strongly encouraged to participate in this process.

The public comment period will be open from March 1, 2021, until March 15, 2021.

The City Council of Sullivan City is emphasizing the mitigation of flooding for both the near and long-term future. The proposed Action Plan will list the projects that have been identified by the city to maximize flood control in the city. Sullivan City will be seeking to prioritize grant funding and low-interest loans to finance the vast majority of these projects.

Public Hearings will be held at 5:30 p.m. on 3/8/2021 and at 5:30 p.m. on 3/11/2021 at the Sullivan City Temporary Building located at 371 E. Expressway 83, Sullivan City, Texas 78595.

Complete copies of the Action Plan are available for pickup from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Sullivan City Temporary Building located at 371 E. Expressway 83, Sullivan City, TX 78595 or at https://www.sullivancity.org.

    What and how did you pick the engineer? How much is the plan going to cost us? Who will be looking over the plan and decide who the contractor will be?
