Assistant Research Scientist

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is recruiting for the position of Assistant Research Scientist in Edinburg, TX with Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field to under limited supervision and with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, performs complex research work by assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of specialized research projects. Manages the upkeep, training, and supervision of specialized research equipment within area of assigned responsibility.
