June 19

  • Kick off the 2021 summer’s return norm at the Vipers Summer Showoff from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bert Ogden Arena. RGV Showoff and TNT Automotive will bring all the hottest cars from imports to exotics with special performances by the RGV Snakecharmers, Venom Hypesquad, local DJ’s and more. June 14-25

  • The RGV Vipers will host a two-week dance camp. For ages 6 to 12, and running from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday through Friday, it includes professional instruction from the team’s current Snake Charmers. Kids will learn three routines – hip hop, jazz and lyrical, plus Tik Tok dances with the Charmers and receive a free T-shirt. There will be a pizza party on the last dance and a dance showcase for the parents. Register at https://rgvsportsfacility.leagueapps.com. Cost is $175 per person.   • The Museum of South Texas History Summer Nights at the Museum continues with A Family Adventure from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The second of a three-night series featuring living history games and puppet shows that highlight South Texas history families participate in a scavenger hunt and, when completed, can be turned in for a chance to win the nightly prize drawing. Those who attend all three nights, and complete the scavenger hunts, will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing on the final night. Social distancing will be observed, and masks are required. July 3

  • The San Benito ResacaFest is back for an evening of food, music and entertainment. Running from 4 to 11 p.m., it will be staged at Heavin Memorial Park, 705 N.
