The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is recruiting for the position of HRIS Analyst in Brownsville, and Edinburg, TX Facilitates and supports key processes and accountabilities within Human Resources, primarily in the area of Human Resources Information Systems Management. Provides pseudo-technical expertise to develop and implement technology-related projects, reports, and documents. serves departmental reporting agent responsible for producing standard and customized reports for internal and external agencies. Provides mid-level writing and basic technical skills to design technical documents, reports, and business process workflow charts for Human Resources projects. Responsible for preparing and submitting all workforce reporting for Human Resources. Education Required for Position: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT or related field. Experience Required for Position: Two (2) years’ experience in the following areas: report writing, querying, and data analysis, HRIS, ERP or database management. Excellent math, analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced level of ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot computers with proficiency in Excel, Word, Front Page, Access (or another database software), or One (1) year of the required experience with a master’s degree from an accredited University in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT or related field.
