- The Valley Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Peter Dabrowski, presents “Dances of the Americas” showcasing dance music from across North and South America while featuring selections by Leonard Bernstein, Astor Piazzolla, and Richard Rodgers. - The 53rd Annual Fiesta Edinburg takes place at H-E-B Park, 1616 S. Raul Longoria Rd. in Edinburg. The festival offers attractions such as the Heart of America Carnival, Alpaquita Ranch, and Contacto animal and dinosaur exhibits, plus regional food, arts and crafts activities, and entertainment.Music headliner on Friday, Feb. 25, is David Lee Garza y Los Musicales. - William Shakespeare’s tragic drama,Coriolanus, will be the next production by the UTRGV Productions Theatre players for six performances. All Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays will be at 2 p.m. The Feb. 26 performance will have ASL interpretation. It will be staged in the Allbert L. - From 2 to 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday and Thursday, International Museum of Art & Sciencevisitors of all ages can drop in to join resident artist Michelle Stitlzein in creating upcycled art with materials such as plastic bottle caps, CDs, and plastic lids. On Friday, visitors can participate in community art project with Stitzlein during the Polk Dot Bottle Cap Sculptures workshop. As a collaborative effort, participants will help create outdoor sculptures inspired by nature with repurposed plastic bottle caps. IMAS is located at 1900 W. Nolana Ave., McAllen. - The Food Bank RGV’s Farm Dinner 2022 will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the historical Valley Fruit Co. building of the Food Bank RGV. The evening offers a cocktail hour outdoors followed by a five-course dinner inside with cuisine featuring locally sourced ingredients. Tickets are $150 per person and must be purchased in advance. - La Joya I.S.D.’s Palmview High School presents “Festejos 2022” featuring Grupo Folklorico Ozomatli and Mariachi Los Lobos for three performances. There will be a guest performance by Conjunto La Tradicion. It begins at 1 and 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. All performances will be held in the Alejanrdo H.
