NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY CDBG FY 2022
NOTICE OF VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Mission anticipates the Community Development Block Grant entitlement allocation for fiscal year 2022-23 will be $1,022,201 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (H.U.D.). These funds can be utilized for eligible activities and meet one of the national objectives. Eligible activities include: public services such as, services for seniors, health, youth; housing activities and infrastructure improvements such as water, sewer or drainage. All proposed projects must benefit low- and moderate-income persons.
Applications will be accepted from non-profit organizations for Fiscal Year 2022 (October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023) until Friday, April 1, 2022 by 5:00 p.m. The application is available and may be submitted thru portal.neighborlysoftware.com/missiontx/participant or the city’s website: https://missiontexas.us/city-departments/community-development/. The City of Mission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. to solicit comments from interested residents and agencies for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Comments received will be considered for preparation of the City of Mission’s Annual Action Plan FY 2022-2023. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and make their views known.
