March 25– McAllen Public Library will host its second annual Community Family Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library located at 4001 N. 23rd St. There will be free activities and health screenings for children and adults. April 3– The RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s next Manic Monday Mixer will be held at La Bahia Mexican Restaurant, 4620 N. 10th in McAllen.  To share information about a business, bring a door prize. For more information on membership to the RGVHCC call 928-0060.

April 5 – The Museum of South Texas History, 200 N. Closner Blvd., invites the community to the first meeting of Pages of the Past book club at 7 p.m. and discuss the book “House Built on Ashes” by José Antonio Rodriguez.
