Porfirio Tijerina Sr.

September 15, 1927 – May 11, 2023

MISSION –  Porfirio Tijerina Sr. born on September 15, 1927 to Narciso Tijerina † and Maria Cantu †, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Mission, Texas. He is now reunited with his loving parents, his wife; Asencion Tijerina †, his son; Ricardo “Ricky” Tijerina † and his granddaughter; Rolinda Garcia †. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his adoring children; Esmeralda Langbein, Narciso “Chicho” Tijerina (Anna), Archie Tijerina and Porfirio Tijerina Jr. (Ayah). He will also be greatly missed by 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at The Lord and I Funeral Home. Followed by a funeral mass on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abram, Texas. Interment will follow at 11:00 am at San Jose Cemetery in Abram, Texas.
