Mission CISD to offer Drive Up Wifi for students
On Monday, Mission CISD will begin offering internet access to students.
Several campuses across the district will offer a Drive Up Wifi service for students to receive internet access while parked in their vehicles from Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the district announced Thursday.
“Technology inequalities have presented a real challenge for the district as it has strived to fulfill its state mandate to continue student instruction as best as possible,”district Superintendent Dr. Carol G. Perez, said in a news release. “Access to the internet has been one of the obstacles that we are now able to help out with by leveraging the existing wireless internet access at a number of our schools.”
