AGUA SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT REQUESTS PROPOSALS
FOR BANK DEPOSITORY SERVICES
RESPONSE REQUESTED BY JULY 8, 2026 AT 3:00 P.M.
Agua Special Utility District (the “District”) seeks responses to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) from qualified financial institutions as required by Chapter 2257, Texas Government Code (Public Funds Collateral Act) and Subchapter A, Chapter 2256, Texas Government Code (Public Funds Investment Act) for the District.
The District was organized in December 2007 pursuant to Texas Special Districts Local Laws Code Chapter 7201 as enacted in the 2005 Regular Session of the Texas Legislature and as subsequently amended in S. B. No. 3 of the 2007 Regular Session. The District currently operates a water utility service CCN approximately 100 square miles in extent in western Hidalgo County, Texas, and has a wastewater utility service CCN for substantially the same area.
Detailed instructions on the preparation of the proposal must be obtained from the District. This information should be requested as soon as possible in order to allow time to prepare the document and comply with the procedures.
If your financial institution is interested in being considered as the Bank Depository, please submit eight (8) bound copies and one USB containing the request for proposal. These materials must be sealed and marked with “070826-001 – Bank Depository Services” in the lower left corner. The proposal must be filed with the District by Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. The submission location is 3120 North Abram Road, Palmview, Texas 78572. The proposals received after this time will not be considered.
