NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE WAIVER

The City of Palmview City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 5:30p.m., at the City of Palmview Council Chamber, 400 W. Veterans Boulevard to consider a request for a waiver from the minimum separation distance requirement of City Code, Section 111.02 which prohibits a business from selling alcoholic beverages within 300 feet of a public school. Lily’s Event Center Inc., proposes to sell alcohol at 211 Showers Rd and this property is within 300 feet of Cesar E. Chavez Middle School, a public school located at 1927 Showers Rd. The City Council will hear comments on this request from any member of the public.
