NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN That by virtue of a certain Order of Sale Cause No. C-3102-24-D issued out of the Honorable DISTRICT COURT OF THE 206TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT, HIDALGO COUNTY, TEXAS on the 21st day of August 2025, and styled Horacio Hernandez Pena (plaintiffs) VS Marco Antonio Veloz, (Defendant) and whereas plaintiff recovered a judgment for the sum of Eighteen Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($18,000.00) with interest thereon from the 21st day of August, 2025 at the rate of 12% per cent per annum plus Five Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($5,000.00) in attorney’s fees and whereas together with said judgment is a foreclosure of a mortgage lien, and the cost of executing this writ with all cost of suit as of record is manifest, in favor of Horacio Hernandez Pena, and placed in my hands for service on May 1, 2026, I, J.E. “Eddie” Guerra, as Sheriff of Hidalgo County, Texas, did on the 1st day of May 2026, levy on certain Real Estate in Hidalgo county, Texas, described as follows, to-wit:
Street Address: 12923 Joseph Ave, Joshua Tree Heights, Mission, Texas 78574 Hidalgo County (formerly known as 2515 Joseph Avenue, Joshua Tree Heights, Mission, Texas and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Joshua Tree Heights, subdivision Lot #17, as reflected in the Special Warranty Deed with Vendor’s Lien filed for record on December 18. 2013 as instrument Number 2013-2472677 in the Office of the County Clerk of Hidalgo County, Texas, reference to which is hereby made for all purposes.
And levied upon as the property of Marco Antonio Veloz and that on the first Tuesday in July 2026, the same being the 7th day of said month, at 2802 S. Business Hwy 281, The Hidalgo County Administrative Building, Edinburg, Texas, hereby designated by The Hidalgo County Commissioners court in the City of Edinburg, Texas between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by virtue of said levy and said Order of Sale, I will sell said above described Real Estate at public venue for cash, to the highest bidder, as the property of said Marco Antonio Veloz in compliance with the law, I give this notice by publication, in the English language, once a week for thee consecutive weeks immediately proceeding said day of sale, in the Progress Times, a newspaper published in Hidalgo County.
