OBIT-Teresa de Jesus Garcia
RENO, NEV. – Teresa de Jesus Garcia, 76, of Reno, Nev. passed away on March 18, 2014.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Mission on Oct. 15, 1937 to Pedro Ybarra and Librada Rodriguez. She worked as a nurse in Texas and California and married Rolando Garcia on April 24, 1960.
Survivors include her children, Anna Elizabeth Atencio and Rolando Javier Garcia, and siblings, Inez Ybarra, Aida Valadez, Jonas Ybarra, Irma Garza, Adela Peña and Lydia Valadez.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 12 p.m. at St Michael’s Catholic Church in Reno. Burial will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 1 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
