PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Alton will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall Legislative Chambers located at 509 S. Alton Boulevard to consider the following request:

REZONE REQUEST:

M2 Engineering, PLLC on behalf of MG3 Investments, LLC is requesting to Rezone a Tract of land located at 420 N. Mayberry Blvd, from “R-1” (Single Family Residential Large Lot) District to “MF-1” (Multi-Family Low Density) District as legally described as follows;

Tract: Being a 2.00-Acre tract, more or less, being part or portion of Lot 42-9, West Addition to Sharyland Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas, map reference: Volume 1, Pages 56, Map Records, Hidalgo County, Texas.

REZONE REQUEST:

M2 Engineering, PLLC on behalf of Redeem Center Investment LLC is requesting to Rezone a Tract of land at 1402 E. Main Ave. from “AG-O” (Agricultural – Open Space) District to “RT-3” (Single Family Residential-Townhouse Lot) District as legally described as follows;

Tract: Being 7.74-Acre tract, more or less, out of the East 10.0 Acres of the West 20.0 Acres of Lot 40-10, West Addition to Sharyland, Hidalgo County, Texas, map reference Volume 1, Page 56, Map Records, Hidalgo County, Texas.

The public is invited to attend the public hearing or file written support for or opposition to this application by 12:00 noon on November 12, 2024, for the Planning and Zoning and the City Commission. If you will be attending and speaking, advise the Planning Department before 5:00 p.m.
